
Welding
Class projects:
Cube: In this project, a cube was created from square metal tubing using a MIG welder to created fillet welds. These segments of tubing were cut using a miter saw fit with a metal blade.

Sphere: In this project, a sphere was created using an oxyacetylene torch to bend three metal rods into circles. These rods were cut using a miter saw, and two of the three circles were cut in half using bolt cutters. These half circles were welded to the whole circle to create a sphere.

Mobile: In this project, a jigsaw and plasma cutter were used to cut shapes from sheet metal. Holes were then drilled into these shapes, and the shapes were then attached to each other to create a mobile with ha

In addition to these class projects, I gained experience in welding by helping to weld the metal set of Baylor's production of Footloose.
