The Walt Disney Company

Disney College Program Fall Advantage '19
May 2019 - January 2020
Seasonal Cast Member
January 2020 - December 2020*
Worked during the week of March 7 - March 13

As an entertainment cast member, my focus was on creating positive and memorable experiences for guests through character interactions in all of the Walt Disney World parks and some of the resorts. To create these experiences, I often developed and improvised unique, detailed stories within the exciting worlds of different characters. This role required a strong sense of surroundings and multi-tasking capability. Additionally, clear verbal and non-verbal communication skills were essential in interacting with characters, attendants, and guests. Some of my daily responsibilities included:

●  Maintaining an efficient guest interaction flow

●  Following guidelines to promote safety for guests and other cast members during interactions

●  Protecting character integrity through immersive character study, improvised and animated story-telling, and

creative problem-solving in non-ideal situations

●  Carrying heavy equipment

* Further work prevented by the COVID-19 Pandemic
